The enforcement operation, authorized by the Governor, targets gates erected without government approval on various streets, including Sir Rufus Foluso Giwa, Theopilus Oji, Osaro Isokpan, and others.
The move aims to combat the indiscriminate mounting of gates, enhancing the aesthetics of the environment and ensuring accessibility for residents.
Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab encourages resident associations to voluntarily remove such gates, with the government committed to restoring the state's aesthetics.
