Newly Sworn-In Ondo State Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, Unveils Key Appointments
In a swift move following his inauguration, Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa of Ondo State has announced a notable lineup of appointments to key positions in his administration.

Ebenezer Adeniyan a seasoned journalist and the Publisher of Trace Magazine in Akure, Ondo State, takes the reins as the Chief Press Secretary. Adeniyan, who previously served as the Secretary of the NUJ in the state, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
The appointment, detailed in an official letter signed by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Omojuwa also includes the designation of Smart Omodunbi Jnr. as the Special Assistant in Political Matters.
Other additions to the governor's team comprise Abire Sunday Olugbenga, appointed as the Special Assistant to the Governor for New Media, Miss Motunrayo Oyedele, named Special Assistant to the Governor for Photography, and Dr. Temitayo Iperepolu, who assumes the position of Special Assistant to the Governor for Domestic and Government House.
All appointments are effective immediately.
Governor Ayedatiwa, formerly the deputy governor, took the oath of office at approximately 4 p.m. today. This transition follows the unfortunate passing of former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu earlier in the day, succumbing to a prolonged battle with leukemia and prostate cancer at a German hospital.
