NYCN OJODU Chapter Addresses Youth Drug Abuse in 3-Day Program(Photos)

Ojodu, Lagos - On Friday, December 21, 2023, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) OJODU Chapter successfully concluded a comprehensive three-day program focused on the theme "YOUTHS & DRUG ABUSE, ADVICE, and WAY FORWARD." The event aimed to tackle the pressing issue of drug abuse among the youth and chart a positive path forward.

The program featured insightful discussions during the panel section, skillfully compered and anchored by the Social Secretary of NYCN Ojodu and the Publisher of Societal Concerns News. Amb. Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi Distinguished panelists, including Deputy Superintendent Abolurin Oluwaseun, Civil Defense PRO for Lagos Command, and Hon Ismail Abidemi Odulana, former Vice President NYCN, Lagos State, delivered compelling messages highlighting the growing menace of drug abuse in our communities.

The Chief Host for the event was the esteemed Hon David Odunmbaku, whose support emphasized the significance of the initiative. Keynote speaker Deputy Superintendent Abolurin Oluwaseun, alongside panelists such as Hon Ismail Abidemi Odulana and Mr. Segun Fayemi, a retired Custom Officer and CDC Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, provided valuable insights.

The presence of youths from various organizations and stakeholders underscored the collective commitment to addressing this critical issue. Comr. Olabode Lukman, the Coordinator of NYCN Ojodu LCDA, played a pivotal role in orchestrating this impactful event.
