Celebrating the gift of life on her birthday, Ambassador Oluwakemi Abiodun Soyebi, a distinguished advocate for women and youth, has unveiled a transformative project that underscores her commitment to humanitarian service. Describing herself as a strong woman with a passion for impacting lives positively, Ambassador Oluwakemi has consistently worked to provide succor to the vulnerable in society.

As a women anwd youth advocate, her  appointment as a peace ambassador has further fueled her dedication to preaching peaceful co-existence among ethnic groups in Nigeria. Speaking about her focus for the remainder of 2023, Ambassador Oluwakemi emphasized her commitment to the welfare of inmates at correctional centers. She stated, "My focus now is on the inmates at the correctional centers; I believe it is not over until it is over." 

Anticipating their release, she emphasized the importance of engaging former inmates in beneficial activities within society, envisioning a positive contribution to their rehabilitation.

The highlight of her birthday celebration is the announcement of the Hope Water Project, a collaborative initiative with Smiling Simon Green Build Foundation and Nigeria Connect Partners. The project aims to provide access to clean water at the Oba Correctional Center in Oba Village, Abeokuta, Ogun State, and is scheduled to be commissioned on Friday, December 29, 2023. Ambassador Oluwakemi passionately stated, "Water is life; the fact that they're inmates does not mean they shouldn't have access to good water."

As a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) advocate, Ambassador Oluwakemi imparted valuable advice to Nigerian youth. She urged them not to wait for white-collar jobs but to embrace vocational training and entrepreneurship. She believes that collective efforts in these endeavors will propel Nigeria forward in the global arena and contribute to the appreciation of the Nigerian currency on the global stage.

The Hope Water Project stands as a testament to Ambassador Oluwakemi Abiodun Soyebi's enduring commitment to creating positive change and leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
