Emir of Kano Endorses The Alternative Bank's Ethical Approach During Commissioning of New Branch


In a momentous event that marked the opening of The Alternative Bank's first stand-alone branch in Kano, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, officially endorsed the largest ethical bank in Nigeria. The Emir, addressing the gathering during the bank's commissioning, hailed The Alternative Bank as a transformative force poised to revolutionize the financial landscape of the state.

During his speech, the Emir emphasized the crucial role of financial institutions in shaping contemporary society and commended The Alternative Bank's commitment to ethics, openness, and substantial economic growth. He underscored the bank's dedication to a mission beyond mere profit margins, highlighting its potential to become a positive force in the community.


The Executive Director of The Alternative Bank, Garba Mohammed, echoed the Emir's sentiments, proudly declaring the bank's adherence to the highest ethical standards. Mohammed emphasized the uniqueness of The Alternative Bank in sharing profits with customers, emphasizing a shared prosperity approach.*
