FIDELITY BANK LAUNCHES READ2LEAD INITIATIVE

Fidelity Bank Launches Read2Lead Initiative: A Nationwide Platform Nurturing Young Writers

In a bold move to foster quality education among Nigerian youths, Fidelity Bank Plc has unveiled its Read2Lead initiative, a creative writing competition tailored for secondary school students.

Under the theme Read2Lead, this three-stage competition promises not only to enhance students' reading and writing skills but also offers lucrative incentives. Participants stand a chance to win millions in cash rewards, secure a book publishing deal, and even witness the renovation of their school library by the financial institution.

The grand prize for the competition's culmination is an impressive N2 million cash, a N2 million book publishing deal, and an additional N2 million to revamp the school's library for the star prize winner. The first and second runners-up are also set to receive substantial cash prizes of N1.5 million and N1 million, respectively.

Kicking off with the National Writing Showdown, the first stage invites participants from all corners of Nigeria to showcase their creative writing prowess. Successful contenders progress to the Sweeta Writing Mastery, where they craft alternate endings for selected books. The culmination of the competition, the Author's Workshop, brings the top 30 participants into an immersive writing boot camp, facilitated by experienced writers, ultimately determining the top three finalists.
