NSCDC Lagos State Command Elevates Public Relations with Commissioning Ceremony


In a significant move to enhance its public image, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command witnessed the commissioning of its newly renovated Public Relations Office on Monday, January 8, 2024.



The outgoing State Commandant, Commandant Usman Alfadarai, MFR, fdc, and the incoming State Commandant, Commandant Keshinro Adedotun, jointly officiated the ceremony, expressing their gratitude to the Public Relations Unit for their dedication to portraying the Corps positively within the state.





Commandant Alfadarai emphasized the importance of prioritizing the Corps' image and acknowledged the media-friendly nature of the command during his tenure. Meanwhile, Commandant Keshinro Adedotun highlighted the vital role of media relations in portraying a favorable image and pledged to further improve the command's narrative as he assumes leadership on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.


The commissioning event, attended by Dr. Cynthia Gregg, CEO and Managing Director of Safety Signatures Limited, commended the outgoing State Commandant's achievements and expressed confidence in the new leadership's ability to ensure the safety and security of the state during their tenure.


In a parallel development, the outgoing Lagos State Commandant, Commandant Usman Alfadarai, and his Deputy Commandant, Eunice Agboola, decorated Chief Superintendent of Corps (CSC) Godonu Jacob, newly promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC). Jacob, formerly the NSCDC Officer-in-Charge of Government House, received recognition for his outstanding service
