Tragic Loss of Female Bank Marketing Staff at Ikorodu Branch
Globus Bank is deeply saddened to announce the untimely death of our esteemed colleague, Amarachi Ugochukwu, a 32-year-old marketing staff. She was found lifeless in the staff toilet at our Ikorodu branch earlier today.
The distressing incident, believed to be a suicide, occurred on Monday, January 8, 2024. Amarachi's colleagues initiated a search after she was discovered missing from her desk, and her lifeless body was discovered with an empty bottle of Sniper insecticide.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, a suicide note was found in a diary on Amarachi's table. In the note, she expressed deep emotional pain, citing personal struggles and a bleak outlook on the future. Our hearts go out to her family, and we extend our sincere condolences.
Upon discovering Amarachi, who confirmed her tragic passing. The incident has been reported to the Ikorodu police, and an investigation is underway.
In accordance with proper procedures, the police have removed Amarachi's body, depositing it at Ikorodu General Hospital for autopsy and preservation. The family has been notified of this devastating loss.
