The Lagos State Police Command addresses the circulating advisory regarding purported kidnapping incidents along Gbagada Expressway. Contrary to the viral message, the Command confirms no issuance of such a security alert.
However, acknowledging the public concerns, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade, mni, has directed an immediate reassessment of the security framework along the affected area. Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and Area Commanders are tasked with this review to prevent any potential security threats.

The revamped security measures will undergo continuous evaluation to ensure utmost safety for commuters, residents, and the entirety of Lagos State. CP Fayoade encourages Lagosians to conduct their lawful activities without apprehension or coercion.
