With resolution and concern for Nigeria's socioeconomic landscape, the Youth Bureau Coalition (TYB) convened a town hall meeting on February 13, 2024, at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

Comrade Rasaq Olokoba, the convener, passionately addressed the audience, expressing genuine concerns about the prevailing economic hardships and offering insightful recommendations for nation-building efforts. Drawing attention to the role of local governments, Olokoba challenged attendees to ponder on effective interventions beyond federal initiatives. He stressed the importance of accountability at all levels, urging decentralization of responsibility instead of relying solely on the central government.

Commending the Lagos state government's initiatives, Olokoba highlighted exemplary efforts in food supply, preservation, and transportation. He lauded projects such as the middle-level fresh food hub in Idi-Oro, Mushin, and ongoing infrastructural developments like the red rail lines and the fourth mainland bridge.
