Recent cable cuts along the West African coast have led to equipment faults on major undersea cables, causing widespread disruption to data and fixed telecom services in several countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Cote d’Ivoire. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) reported on the negative impact of these incidents, which occurred somewhere in Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal, with consequent disruptions in Portugal.
