In a quest for justice following the tragic demise of Nigerian rapper and singer MohBad, the ongoing corona inquest took a significant step forward today. The proceedings, which had been on hiatus for several months, resumed with the testimony of key witnesses shedding light on the events leading up to MohBad's untimely death on September 12, 2023.

Among the witnesses invited to speak on the matter were Primeboy and Spendy, both close friends of MohBad who were with him at his last performance location before his passing. Their testimonies is to provide valuable insights into the circumstances surrounding the incident, offering hope to the masses seeking closure and accountability.

However, the inquest is set to continue on April 15, 2024, allowing for the continuation of proceedings and further examination of the evidence at hand.

In a pivotal moment during the hearing, Dr. Richard Somrari, the center director of the Lagos State DNA and Forensic Center, provided an update on the toxicology investigation. He informed the court that samples are currently undergoing analysis in the laboratory, with experts expected to deliver results within the next 3-4 weeks. This development marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of truth and justice for MohBad and his supporters.

Addressing Societal Concerns, Mr. David Nawoola, the legal representative of the entertainment community, expressed optimism regarding the proceedings. "We are in the court of justice with all witnesses present today," he stated. "We are making strides towards closure on this matter, and the pursuit of justice and fact-finding will be achieved."

MohBad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, was a talented artist known for his contributions to the Nigerian music scene. Formerly signed to Naira Marley's Marlian Records, his passing sent shockwaves throughout the industry and beyond. At just 27 years old, his legacy continues to resonate, as the quest for justice in his memory presses forward in the halls of justice.
