TINCAN ISLAND PORT CUSTOMS HOSTS HISTORIC JOINT CRLEBRATION AMONG RELIGIOUS STAKEHOLDERS

Tincan Island Port Customs Hosts Historic Joint Celebration Among Muslims and Christian Stakeholders.

In a remarkable display of unity and solidarity, Tincan Island Port Customs hosted a groundbreaking event, combining the celebration of IFTAR with Muslim brethren and the upcoming Easter festivities with Christian brethren. Led by the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Dera A Nnadi mni, the event highlighted the significance of communal harmony and collective prayers for the nation's progress.

Addressing a diverse audience including representatives from sister security agencies, port stakeholders, and the media, Comptroller Nnadi praised the recent achievements of Port Manager Mr. Sylvester O Egede. The synergy between customs, security agencies, and the press was acknowledged for its positive portrayal of port activities.

Emphasizing the importance of dedication to national growth, Comptroller Nnadi commended stakeholders for their contributions while urging continued commitment to trade facilitation and ease of doing business.

Of particular note was the resolution of the traffic congestion issue, which had previously hampered vehicular movement from Mile 2 to the Tincan Seaport. Port Manager Mr. Egede attributed this success to a combination of experience, environmental awareness, and institutional knowledge.

In his closing remarks, Comptroller Nnadi extended gratitude to all attendees, with special appreciation for the Imam of TCIPC Mosque for offering prayers for the nation's prosperity. The event symbolized a step forward in fostering inclusivity and cooperation within the Tincan Island Port community.
