NYCN EUROPE APPOINTS DR. ADEKUNLE BADMUS AS YOUTH AMBASSADOR IN TURKEY






NYCN Europe Appoints Dr. Adekunle Badmus as Youth Ambassador in Turkey


The National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Europe chapter, has officially appointed Dr. Adekunle Azeez Badmus as the Youth Ambassador in Turkey. This significant appointment was confirmed by the Governor of the Council's Europe chapter, Ambassador Collins Idahosa, in a letter dated May 23, 2024.


Dr. Badmus, a distinguished youth leader and serial entrepreneur, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He is renowned for his eloquence in youth and education advocacy and has a notable background as a diplomat on Government Bilateral Agreements and as an Ambassador for Quality and Affordable Education in Africa. Dr. Badmus also serves as the director of the Goodmus Learning Centre, along with various other global educational organizations.



In his statement on the appointment, Ambassador Idahosa highlighted the anticipated benefits of Dr. Badmus's expertise for the council and the youths. "The council and the youths stand to benefit tremendously from Ambassador Badmus's vibrant leadership and vast experience," he said.


Upon his appointment, Dr. Badmus expressed his enthusiasm and readiness to enhance the education and development of Nigerian youths in Turkey. He outlined his vision to promote education, entrepreneurship, and social development, aiming to help Nigerian youths realize their potential and contribute significantly to their communities and the broader economy.


"My vision and plans as an Ambassador of NYCN Turkey are to embark on a crusade to promote education and entrepreneurship among the Nigerian Youth in Turkey, channeling their energy towards meaningful engagements," Dr. Badmus stated. "This will help them maximize their potentials, become viable employers of labor, and contribute to the local economies of Nigeria."


Dr. Badmus emphasized his commitment to sensitizing youths on education, poverty alleviation, entrepreneurship, and social development, guiding them towards actualizing their dreams and achieving purposeful living.


He also expressed his gratitude to the Governor, the council, and all members of the NYCN Europe Chapter for the confidence reposed in him. Dr. Badmus pledged to spare no effort in making a profound impact on the youths both in Nigeria and the diaspora.
