Societal Concerns: Renowned Musician Zaaki Azi Joins Amb. Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi on "Walk Against Killing of Security Personnel" Initiative

In a powerful demonstration of solidarity, renowned musician Zaaki Azzay  has joined forces with Societal Concerns in their campaign to address the alarming increase in violence against security personnel. The initiative, spearheaded by Ambassador Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi, publisher of Societal Concerns Magazine, seeks to bring national attention to this critical issue through the “Walk Against Killing of Security Personnel.”

The campaign was officially launched in Lagos and received significant support from the community and public figures alike. Zaaki Azzay, known for his captivating music and passionate advocacy, is the latest high-profile figure to lend his voice to this cause. His involvement is expected to amplify the campaign's message and reach a broader audience.

“I am honored to be part of this important movement,” said Azi. “Our security personnel risk their lives daily to keep us safe. It is imperative that we show our support and work together to end this senseless violence.”

The next edition of the walk is scheduled to take place in Ogun State in July. This follow-up event aims to build on the momentum from the Lagos launch, engaging more communities and encouraging public participation. The initiative calls on citizens to not only walk but also engage in discussions and activities that promote the protection and appreciation of security personnel.

As the campaign gains traction, Societal Concerns remains committed to fostering a safer environment for security personnel through continuous advocacy, public education, and collaborative efforts with law enforcement agencies and community leaders.
