PRESS SOCIETY TO HOST SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP FOR JOURNALISTS

 The Press Society to Host Sensitization Workshop for Journalists Covering Edo and Ondo Elections

As the 2024 gubernatorial elections in Edo and Ondo states approach, The Press Society (TPS), a non-governmental organization, is inviting journalists to participate in a sensitization workshop designed to enhance their reporting skills and awareness.

Recognizing the challenging economic conditions across Nigeria, which have recently sparked protests, TPS emphasizes the need for journalists covering these elections to be particularly attuned to these realities. The workshop aims to prepare journalists to report responsibly and sensitively during the election period.

This virtual workshop, organized under TPS's Advocacy and Sensitization focus area, is scheduled for September 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Journalists interested in covering the Edo and Ondo elections are encouraged to attend.
